Esters and fatty acid esters from Fauth.

Esters are used as raw materials and additives in a variety of applications in all areas of life, primarily in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, but especially as chemical and technical products. Produced from natural raw materials and synthetically optimised, they convince technically and as a sustainable solution primarily in the lubricant, plastics, textile, printing inks, adhesives and coatings industries. They are essential in the production of biogenic high-performance lubricants such as long-life engine or gear oils, and have been used for some time in peripheral areas such as fibre production or fibre preparation. In addition to their superiority over mineral oils in terms of technical properties, their easy biodegradability also represents an advantage compared to conventional lubricants. They are currently the best choice as special lubricants in precision mechanics or lubricants in the defence sector.

Fatty acid esters are derivatives which are formed by the reaction of fatty acids, such as olein or stearic acid with mono or polyalcohol, and are produced almost exclusively from renewable raw materials. Esters from Fauth are best suited for all of the applications mentioned: as methyl esters, triglycerides, saturated and unsaturated esters, harder or softer ester waxes or organic lamp oil.
